I bought one of these a few weeks ago and it has turned out to be the most used outdoor tool I own. The best feature is that it is light and easy to move around versus my Whisper series 650 cfm monster. I am really glad i bought this.

I think you got the pronunciations mixed up for ryobi. I haven’t done the hard research myself for the actually pronunciation, but the company originally came from Japan. If Japan pronounced Ryu from street fighter as REE-YOU, then I would believe they would pronounce Ryobi as REE-YOH-BEE.

Total crap, I just tested two units on LSL timberstrand and both guns jammed after the first shot. The first shot wouldn’t even drive the nail fully. The old gun sucked but at least it worked. I’m a Dewalt guy for everything, over 100 batteries but this is a huge let down.

I was waiting on this blower from the moment I first saw it. Finally got it late last summer when it was in stock in my local Home Depot. I absolutely love this thing! It is loud but it’s very powerful and has decent trigger response. It’s fantastic for blowing snow off your car, so long as the snow isn’t super wet and heavy. Also works fantastically for drying a vehicle after you’ve washed it. Nice and compact for working in and around shops, my only gripe is the maximum length of the supplied tubes. See I’m a 5’22” tall man, and the supplied tubeage, well it just ain’t long enough for me! But that’s a me problem not a Ryobi not Reeobi problem! Thanks for reviewing a type of tool that I believe is often overlooked and under appreciated! Try it with a real/modern HP battery instead of a the older style HP batteries like you used in this test. I’m curious if it makes a difference. I know going from a modern 4AH HP to a 6AH HP makes a detectable difference in performance! Much love and respect brother 👊👊👊 Edit: just saw you did use a modern HP for the run time test. Perhaps it’s just my bad ears and wishful thinking, but it sure seemed like it was blowing harder, or at least sounded like it was.

whelp----- That's all _Nice n'Everythang_ but, if there is "Less Noise" there will also be ............. *_LESS Cooling_* , so I do fear that THIS particular, "Light years _Ahead_ technology" isn't REALLY so far ahead. It simply has a "sound deadening shroud" *_Built INTO it_* whereas, if you DO wish to run the older style genny's *OBVIOUSLY* you do have to create a sound shroud - IF - you want to quiet your traditional generator. This is not a new concept. *And ACTUALLY* it's _Better_ for the generator. bc now you have fuller access TO that generator for service, AND it can cool it'self more easily too. (if you build the shroud well) ------------------ versus: *This "NEW" genny-inverter? it **_*obviously_* has very shitty air flow INSIDE that sound deadening. that will AGE the genny faster. bc it prevents breathability / airflow / cooling. NOT Tragically.... but it DOES. whereas if you build yourself a "NICE" well-ventilated shroud for trad-genny's- *you will NOT* have that problem. and you won't annoy your neighbor there is *NO REASON* to annoy either . yourself . OR ... your neighbors with a generator running for days on end. it's pritty easy to make a sound shroud. and frankly if your _Neighber_ is indeed "sensitive" to noises & also does not like your generator He / She may STILL just be annoyed with that inverter generator. the noise is _Lessened_ but not gone. it IS still ..... "noisey" so you may want to build yourself a Nice sound deadening shroud for that inverter genny. (it's just LESS noisey) but still noisey ANY Gas engine is.... _and stinky too_ if the wind is blowin the wrong way
